HMS Mersey was spotted on our 24 webcam passing Plymouth’s waterfront this morning and inbound to Devonport.
Armed with a 20mm cannon and two machine guns and was launched in 2003, and one of the most active ships in the Navy.
The main tasks of the Mersey are to monitor fishing boats and trawlers and see if they stick to agreed quotas.
