Plymouth producer, director, and award-winning playwright Chris Savery’s latest production of ‘1588’, about the Spanish Armada, will be performed at the Theatre Royal’s Drum Theatre on the 25th to 30th January 2027.
A cast of actors will perform the play that won great acclaim and plaudits at the online Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022 and will now showcase at the Drum Theatre in the heart of Plymouth in 2027.
1588′ will be staged by the ‘Plymouth Presents Theatre Company’ and founded by Chris Savery and a group of talented Plymouth actors. More of the story will follow.
