It’s been a busy year for the crew at HMS Portland, and especially being the Duty Ship for 4 months during April to August 2022, and deterring and detecting Russian Submarines from entering British waters.
The Type 23 Duke class frigate, is on her way into Devonport this afternoon for some well earned holiday leave for Christmas.
