THE ULYSSES SUPERYACHT ARRIVES IN PLYMOUTH

ONE of the world’s most stunning superyachts arrived in Plymouth Sound yesterday evening and was captured on our live webcam.

For several hours the 103-meter Ulysses was anchored near Fort Bovisand and was eventually guided by the Plymouth Pilot boat into moorings at the Barbican Landing Stage.

The luxury vessel is owned by New Zealand entrepreneur Graeme Hart, and the exterior boasts over 1,100 square meters of glass with a swimming pool that covers the entire height of the main deck.

International yachting specialists say the huge luxury vessel is the fourth largest vessel ever built.

At a top speed of 18 knots, the luxurious yacht can accommodate 20 guests in 9 staterooms, with 30 crew members.

The Ulysses is expected to stay in the city until Wednesday evening, and the visit was organised by the Cattewater Harbour Commissioners.

Plymouth is gaining a global reputation for superyacht visitors, and next month the city’s official cruise season begins with the arrival of the first liner, AMBITION, on the 11 March, 2025.
