HMS Portland was spotted on our Live Webcam this morning at the Plymouth Breakwater.
The Type 23 ‘Duke’ class-frigate is back from her weekend in Cherbourg promoting the Anglo French alliance between the two countries, and especially the Royal Navy and @MarineNationale that work together on a range of exercises and operations around the globe.
HMS Portland is based at HMNB Devonport and was launched by Lady Heather Brigstocke on 15th May, 1999.
