HMS Dauntless worked up its Phalanx Close-in Weapons Systems that was put to the test recently.
The weapons successfully tracked aircraft simulating attacks on the ship before being test fired against surface and air targets.

HMS Dauntless Twitter Feed said: “We hope you had a good phalanxtines day, we certainly did! The ship successfully conducted tracking trials on our close in weapons systems using jets to test their built-in radars. Having proven the capability, the guns will be fired over the coming days.”
