MS Ambition met the pride of Brittany, the MV Pont Aven, at the Plymouth breakwater this evening as both ships raised their horns of goodbyes – and certainly entertained and pleased passengers on both ships and local people watching ashore.
The flagship of Brittany Ferries was the first to leave and head outbound to Roscoff, with the MS Ambition leaving 20 minutes later.
Passengers from the Ambition were seen in large numbers visiting the Barbican and Hoe seafront today and marking another successful visit by the Bahamas-flagged vessel.
The next ship will be the Douglas Mawson expedition ship on its first maiden visit to Plymouth on 2 June.
