Review of our recent visit to Roscoff
Located near the Port of Roscoff, and tucked into a pretty corner of Brittany, is one of the most charming Bed & Breakfast Hotels we’ve ever stayed in.
Married couple Marie-Laure and Philippe Jallu of ‘Entre Terre & Mer Chambres D’Hotes’ take customer services to a whole new level of refinery.
The guest house was the ideal destination to recharge your batteries from the over night sailing on the Brittany Ferries crossing from Plymouth, and is close to the beaches, landscapes, and hiking trails to the Cote des Sables.
With 4 rooms of different atmospheres and home comforts, Marie and Laure give you a special welcome to the hotel like long-lost friends.
Each room is based on the legends and history of the area from the sea, local islands, to chosen symbols for each room.
The large cosy living room boasts a pool table, library corner, and a beautiful garden for afternoon teas that we enjoyed immensely.
The homemade French breakfast of jams, butter, cakes, pastries, pancakes, fresh fruits, honey, yogurts that are all homemade local produce.
Breakfast is served between 7:30am to 10:00 am, with change of times (considered for individual guests).
We can’t wait to go back again.
St Pol de Léon in Brittany is an historic town known for its religious heritage and the vegetable farming around the town, which made it one of the largest market-garden regions in Europe.
