HMS TRIUMPH BACK IN PLYMOUTH

HMS Triumph was spotted on our 24 hour live webcam returning to Devonport this evening.

The Mail on Sunday recently ran an article saying that every British nuclear attack submarine was in port – leaving this country unprotected from Russian vessels loitering off the British coastlines – and not long after HMS Triumph was seen leaving Plymouth on the 7th September.

HMS Triumph was launched 1991 and has a typical crew of 130 personnel.

The motto of the crew and submarine is ‘We Shall Triumph‘.

HMS Triumph is the last of the Trafalgar-class submarines in service, and is equipped with cruise missiles and Spearfish torpedoes, this versatile sub can stay at sea unsupported for up to three months.
