GETTING READY FOR BRITTANY FERRIES 2025

It’s almost finally here!

At the end of this month, Brittany Ferries cross-Channel links from Plymouth, Roscoff, and Santander will return for a new season in 2025.

Westward Shipping News couldn’t be more excited to see the Pont Aven and Armorique ferries making their regular sailings in and out of the Sound starting at the end of March.

The Brittany Ferries arrivals and departures are a popular watch on our live 24/7 webcam.

Be sure to check out the first arrival on our live streaming service at the end of the month.

Plymouth has been busy getting ready for the new season of the Brittany Ferries schedules with Millbay Docks (ABP) finishing off works at West Wharf, a new passenger footbridge, and at the Ferry Terminal

Brittany Ferries is a leader in focusing on new vessels, protecting the environment, and a long-term commitment to Plymouth.

The arrival of cleaner travel is already here with two new hybrid LNG ships to the Brittany Fleet from Portsmouth, with the Saint-Malo and the Guillaume de Normandie scheduled to start sailing in April 2025.

The English Channel is 350 miles long and 150 miles broad at its widest point, with the Dover Strait only 21 miles wide.

More than 500 ships pass through the English Channel daily and can be seen on our shipping map.

Plymouth’s connection is crucial in tapering westward in the northern coasts of Brittany, together with Spain and Portugal.

The Armorique ship is a firm friend of the city that accommodates up to 1,500 passengers with a choice of 247 cabins, all of which are en suite and air conditioned.

The flagship of Brittany Ferries, the Pont-Aven, can carry up to 2,400 passengers and 650 cars, and the cruise ferry changed the way travellers crossed the English Channel in style, from cabin choices to decor, dining to entertainment.
