HMS Trent was spotted on our live webcam this afternoon making its way across the Plymouth waterfront inbound to HMNB Devonport.
The River-class offshore patrol vessel has been away from UK waters for more than 4 years and deployed on patrols in the Mediterranean, West Africa, and the Caribbean.
The vessel was placed into maintenance period in Malta and Cdr Gavin Lowe RN has assumed Command of HMS TRENT when alongside in Gibraltar recently.
HMS Trent is due to undergo a period of @FOSTtraining before relieving HMS Medway in the Caribbean.
