The TS ROYALIST tall ship training brig passing Plymouth Hoe this afternoon.
The TS Royalist is a beautiful and practical two-masted brig, designed to make efficient use of space and provide all-round sailing ability in teaching cadets the art of old-time seamanship, and provide young seafarers the appropriate sailing skills.
TS Royalist was launched on the 3 August 1971 by the Princess Royal and the flagship of the Sea Cadets. The two-masted brig can take 24 cadets to sea on 6 day voyages.
