The city’s latest superyacht visitor, the 55-metre Feadship explorer the Shinkai, arrived at the Barbican Landing Stage yesterday.
The beautiful vessel is listed 746 in the world’s top rankings for largest yachts and co-designed by Philippe Briand and sailing under the Marshall Islands flag with its own submarine onboard.
Phillipe Briand, founder and designer of Vitruvius Yachts Ltd, has made his name designing award-winning sailing yachts.
Shinkai has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure and is powered by2 MTU engines, which give the super yacht a top speed of 14 kn.
