The MV Artania is the last cruise ship to visit Plymouth this year and arrived in the mist and rain early this morning.
The huge vessel dropped anchor near the breakwater just after 8am and is on a 9-hour visit.
Passengers could be seen leaving the liner onto tender boats and greeted by city representatives and Volunteer Cruise Ambassadors at the Barbican Landing Stage.
The Artania is run by Phoenix Reisen Cruises and built in 1984, but refurbished in 2022. It was at the time the most expensive passenger ship ever built and initially named Royal Princess because it was launched by the late Princess of Wales.
The Bahamas registered liner has eight decks, carries up to 1,260 passengers, 537 crew, and 594 cabins.
The last cruise ship to visit the city this year, and a tourism boost of £1.5 million to the local economy with over 10,000 visitors.
