The MS Ambition cruise ship arrived in glorious sunshine this morning at 7:09am inside the Plymouth Breakwater. Ambassador Cruise Line operates the ship and is a regular visitor to the city.
The Plymouth pilot boat escorted the 13-decker liner inside the Sound and now dropped anchor near HMS Anson. The luxury cruise ship is the third visitor of 2026 and will depart again around 6pm this evening.
Over 1,428 passengers and 670 crew are onboard, and Ambition’s Tender boats will take passengers throughout the day to the Barbican Landing Stage, where they will be met by shore handlers, city cruise partnership representatives, and a team of volunteer cruise ship ambassadors.
The Bahamas-flagged vessel weighs over 48,000 tonnes, with an impressive array of on-board attractions.
