The three masted tall ship schooner, and made famous from the hit BBC drama series of the 1970s ‘The Onedin Line’ was visiting Plymouth for Pirate Weekend.
In 1999, the Torrevieja City Council acquired the deteriorating ‘Pascual Flores’ and restored the vessel as a ‘symbol of the city’s maritime heritage and the prowess of its sailors’.
The Pascual Flores was joined by the Galeon Andalucia for the now established annual Pirate Weekend of events on the Barbican.
