HMS St Albans was spotted on our live webcam on its way into Devonport this afternoon following its participation in the UK’s #DDay80 events.
The Devonport based Type 23 frigate gave a six-gun salute in tribute to the Southsea celebration for #DDay80 commemoration showcase, that ended with the Red Arrows and a solitary RAF Typhoon flew overhead.
Drake’s Island visitors can be seen on the jetty as the frigate sails across the Hoe foreshore.
