One of the Royal Navy’s most secretive ships RFA Proteus arrived in the mist and rain this afternoon inbound to HM Naval Base Devonport
The Proteus is a Multi-Role Ocean Surveillance vessel and was spotted on our live webcam.
The vessel is used for protecting undersea cables and other infrastructure – while also being capable of acting as a mothership for drones and other un-crewed systems.
