The city’s first luxury cruise liner of 2026, the Bahamas-registered Seabourn Ovation, arrived in the Sound early this morning under the watchful eye of HMS Sutherland in the distance @FOST training activities.

The gigantic cruise ship last visited in 2024, and Westward Shipping News live-streaming webcams captured the first images of the ship arriving inside the breakwater.
Tender boats at the ready, passengers will be met at the Barbican Landing Stage by volunteer cruise ambassadors, shore handlers, and city representatives.

The Seabourn Ovation will stay until 6pm tonight.
The luxury cruise ship has 12 decks and 266 cabins and is carrying up to 638 passengers and 330 crew.
You can see live images throughout the day on our webcams, and more images and stories will follow on our website.
