One of the world’s most stealthiest conventional submarines the NRP Tridente of the Portuguese Navy was spotted on our webcam inbound to HMNB Devonport today.
In the background the Algerian Navy ship the ANS Adhafer at anchor near the Breakwater.
The submarine has a crew of 38 Portuguese Navy personnel on board and two Romanian Navy officers, as part of bilateral relations between Portugal and Romania.
NRP Tridente is visiting Plymouth to support Fleet Operational Standards and Training (FOST), which takes place in Plymouth and world renowned.
