HMS Iron Duke spotted at anchor near the Plymouth Breakwater this afternoon.
The Duke-class frigate is working up rejoining the fleet after a 6-year absence with her LIFEX refit began in 2019 after a long stay in Portsmouth.
Work completed on the warship included various communication/navigation upgrades, the installation of Sea Ceptor air defence missile system and preparing the ship to carry future anti-surface guided weapons such as Martlet and Sea Venom.
