GLOBETROTTING AMERA VISITS PLYMOUTH

Globetrotting luxury cruise liner the MS Amera crossed the Atlantic to finish off its international tours with a stop-over in Plymouth – before it returns to its home port in Germany.

The German operator Phoenix Reisen that owns the MS Amera, recently visited Canada, New York, Cork in Ireland, and now berthed alongside West Wharf at Millbay Docks – to be greeted by the city’s tourist & port bosses, shore handlers, and volunteer cruise ambassadors.

At 38,000 tons the impressive vessel was spotted on our 24 hour webcam where over 2.7K followers watched online has the ship sailed across the Hoe waterfront into Millbay Docks.

The MS Amera is the first of two cruise ships to visit the city this weekend with the Scenic Eclipse 2, schedule to anchor in the Sound in the morning.
