The fast fleet tanker was recently sold to a maritime company and will be operated by the Inocea Group to provide frontline services in supporting allied naval forces for the next 20 years.
The fast fleet tanker was sold by the Ministry of Defence and handed over to the Inocea Group, and is currently being reactivated at Cammell Laird.
The Wave Class tankers previously supported a range of Royal Navy and NATO operations, including deployments in the Arabian Gulf under Operation KIPION and NATO task groups, as well as counter-piracy and humanitarian relief missions.
